Terms of use

What internd is

internd is a free tool for browsing internship listings, saving roles and making announcement cards. We are not an employer, a recruiter or an agency. We take no part in hiring decisions and are not a party to anything between you and a company.

Who can use internd

You must be 18 or older to use internd, whether you are looking for a role or posting one.

Your account

You can use internd without an account. If you sign in, keep your sign-in links and devices to yourself, because anyone holding them can see your synced progress. You can sign out of a device or delete your account at any time in the You tab. We can end sessions or close an account that breaks these terms.

Listings

• Most listings are imported from public job boards that companies run themselves. We show a short summary and link to the original. Others are posted straight to internd by the company.
• Pay, location and requirements are what the company published. We do not check them, and a company can change or remove a role at any time.
• A role can stay on internd for a few hours after it closes, until the next import.
• Read the full listing and look into the company before you apply or share personal details.

Companies that post roles

Posting is free. By posting you tell us, and anyone who reads the role, that:

• You are allowed to post it for the company, and the role is a real internship you intend to fill.
• You will not ask applicants for money, for private payment or identity details, or to move to a private chat before you have replied.
• You will show pay honestly. Unpaid roles are allowed where the law allows them and are labelled as unpaid.
• The role is open to people 18 and over. internd does not list roles for under-18s.
• You will read the applications you receive, treat applicants' details as private and use them only to consider that application.

A role stays up for 45 days unless you extend it, and comes down when you close it. The link we email you is the only key to manage the role, so keep it private. We can hold, edit or remove a role and block a company, especially after reports that it is not what it says. A role that three different people report goes on hold until a person has looked at it.

Applying and replying

When you apply with your internd profile, the company sees your application straight away and can reply from its own list. The company decides what happens next. We do not check the company, screen applicants or promise a reply. Once you send an application, the company holds your details and its own privacy policy covers them.

College pages

A college page shows entries that students add about themselves. You may add only your own real internship, under a name you choose, and you confirm a college email to do it. We check the email, not the offer, so an entry is your own account and not proof. You can delete your entry at any time, and we can hide entries that look false or misuse the page.

Boosts and sponsors

A boost moves a role earlier in the deck for people it already fits, is marked Boosted, and runs for the days agreed. It does not guarantee views or applications, and it never overrides a person's filters. Sponsor cards are labelled Sponsored. Prices and dates for boosts and sponsorships are agreed in writing with us, by email, before they run.

Using internd

• Use internd for yourself. Do not send automated bulk requests, try to overload or break the service, or get around its limits.
• Do not add anything to your profile or cards that is false, unlawful or belongs to someone else.
• Announce only internships that are real. Cards that claim a role you do not hold, or that pass as another person or company, are not allowed.
• Answer "did they reply?" only about roles you really applied to, and answer honestly. Answers that look coordinated or fake can be removed.

Your content

Your profile, links and photos stay on your device unless you send them or sign in (see the privacy policy), and you keep ownership of what you make. When you download or share a card, add an entry to a college page or post a role, you are the one publishing it and you are responsible for what it says. You allow us to show it as you asked. Check with your employer before you announce a role that might be confidential.

Names and logos

Company names and trademarks belong to their owners. A listing or card that mentions a company does not mean the company endorses internd or is connected to it.

Our guides are general information, not legal or career advice. Rules change, so check the official source for your situation.

No guarantees

internd is provided as it is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we do not promise that it will be free of errors or always online, that a listing is current, or that a company will reply. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that come from using internd, including from a role, employer or listing you found here. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have by law that cannot be limited.

Changes

We may change the service or these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and using internd after a change means you accept it.
