[Bosch R&D – Internship] Testing Tool Development Intern

Bosch first started in Vietnam with a representative office in 1994. Bosch has its main office in Ho Chi Minh City, with branch offices in Hanoi and Da Nang, and a Powertrain Solutions plant in the Dong Nai province to manufacture pushbelt for continuously variable transmissions (CVT) in automobiles. In addition, Bosch operates a software and engineering R&D center (Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions Vietnam Co., Ltd).

In July 2014, Bosch set up a new Automotive R&D Center, located in Ho Chi Minh City. The continuous growth of this Centre is in line with Bosch’s strategy in Vietnam, which aims at becoming a manufacturing and R&D hub in the Southeast Asian region. Currently four products are available: connectors, pushbelt, fuel supply, and diagnosis module (tank leakage).

Job Description

1. Low-Code Application & Tool Development

Design, develop, and implement low-code applications, dashboards, and web-based features to support laboratory processes and application for equipments.

Maintain, enhance, and continuously improve existing lab applications.

Develop tools for managing, visualizing, and analyzing laboratory data.

Design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for lab personnel.

Collaborate closely with Testing Engineers and lab personnel to understand requirements and translate them into practical digital solutions.

Perform application testing, troubleshoot issues, and fix bugs to ensure stable and reliable functionality.

Document application logic, workflows, and data structures.

Create user guides and work instructions for developed applications.

2. Laboratory & Testing Support

Prepare test samples and support execution of different tests (e.g. Mechanical, Electrical,…) under supervision.

Support laboratory management activities, including 5S, safety compliance, inventory management, document control.

Qualifications

1. Education

Undergraduate students currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or any related fields.

2. Technical Skills

Interest or basic experience in low-code/no-code platforms, especially Power Apps and Power BI.

Basic programming or scripting knowledge (e.g. Python) is an advantage.

Basic understanding of data handling or database concepts.

Data management, Process flow visualization.

Good computer skills; proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Analytical, proactive, and open-minded working attitude.

Strong sense of responsibility and ownership.

Good self-planning and fast learning ability.
